Weekly Roundup: May 18 – May 24

It’s time to review my progress again! Better late than never, am I right? I’m happy to report that I’m continuing to show improvement. As always I’m using my Fitbit for my measurements and tracking. I’m well on my way to better habits and a great foundation for my health journey.

Fitness Challenge

Although I continue to struggle on my days off of work, I was much more successful the rest of the week. 

Starting average – 7,500 steps/day
This week’s average – 9,000 steps/day
Total average – 8,200 steps/day
Goal reached – 5/7 days

Stress Relief Challenge

I’m definitely becoming more consistent with my meditation practice. And, I’m starting to look forward to it each day!

Goal reached – 6/7 days

Self-care Challenge

Unfortunately, sleep has been a bit of a struggle this week. I’m still going to bed on time; I’m just having trouble staying asleep. This is a problem I have sometimes and I know it will eventually pass. However, I still managed to meet and even exceed my goal for a few nights.

Starting average – 6.5 hours/night
This week’s average – 7 hrs/night
Total average – 6.83 hrs/night
Goal reached – 3/7 nights

Weight

I don’t expect much of a weight change, if any, at this time. I’m just working to build a foundation right now.

Starting weight – 260.4 pounds
Last week’s weight – 258.4 pounds
Current weight – 259.4 pounds

I’m quite pleased with my progress so far. Building healthy habits takes time, especially for me. These particular habits are developing wonderfully. Seeing my continuing improvement each week is exactly what I need to keep going.
